PETLO self help recordings

We offer a number of self help recordings which complement our 8 Recipes for Life book. As you will see on the recordings page each topic area has a description and a sample you can listen to to help you choose the right one.

All of these recordings (which last up to 66 minutes) have been prepared and recorded by Pet, who is a trained Clinical Hypnotherapist. They have a common introduction. Each includes original metaphors, or stories to help deliver beneficial messages to your subconscious or unconscious mind.

These recordings are really guided conversations that can help us to make progress in the following areas:

Relaxation – this could complement any of the recipes the book

Self-confidence – to complement any recipes – especially 4, 7 and 8

Achieve your goals – particularly applicable to Recipes 1 and 8

Practise a type of ‘meditation’ by using self-hypnosis. Good as an adjunct to all recipes especially Recipe 3 (where we can learn to value ourselves more) and Recipe 6 where we learn to ‘get in the flow’ and become productive.

You don’t need to have any existing knowledge or experience to benefit from our recordings as each has a simple introduction to explain the process. It would be a good idea to set aside time when you’ll be undisturbed, when you can lie down and relax and the recordings are best enjoyed wearing headphones.

The common theme of these recordings is to help with relaxation and making helpful suggestions to your subconscious or unconscious mind, depending on the topic you’ve selected. We hope you enjoy them and would love to get your feedback.
